AVEX 2011 gets off to a flying start

The AVEX 2011 ballot was held on June 30 and the response was fantastic with over 50 per cent of the available stand space already sold to 40 members of the AVA and the EPDWA.

These include companies from all the key sectors and some of the biggest names in the industry.

Travelling to the NEC is easy and the majority of exhibitors were present in person at the ballot to select the stand of their choice, all hoping that their company would win the Free Stand prize draw. Brian Tustain acted as host for the day and kept the excitement going right up until he announced the winner - Crane Merchandising Systems.

The CMS team were absolutely delighted. Simon Heath, UK sales director at CMS commented, "This is great news for the team at CMS. 2010 has been an incredibly busy year for us. AVEX 2011 will be a great opportunity for us to showcase our new equipment (including the BevMax 4 35 Select and our new snack machine). AVEX is always a very good platform for new innovation and networking so we anticipate a good show next year."

David Hoskin, AVEX Chairman commented, "This is a tremendous result and is an endorsement that AVEX remains the premier UK vending and water exhibition. AVEX 2009 was a huge success and 2011 promises to deliver even more."

Allocated stands are shown on the stand plan, which can be viewed on the website.
